Tranny swap question??????

Ok,
I have pretty much completed the swap from stick to auto, except that I have a code 19 because I haven't connected the speed sensor on the auto tranny.
My question is: Was that sensor on the manual tranny a speed sensor also? The wiring connection is different for the auto tranny. Do I have to cut and join the wires or do I need to take the harness from the auto engine and change over the whole thing?
Any advice appreciated soon... want to finish this by tomorrow. Thanks guys and girls!

I swapped over the engine harness, plugged in the lockup solenoid (which I mistakenly referred to a a speed sensor before) and still have a code 19. Anybody?

Might be adumb question but are you using the auto ecu or do you still have the 5spd ecu in there??

it's the auto ecu that I have in. I actually got that problem sorted out, but another has appeared now. The tranny lockup solenoid apparently was connected to the shifter inside the car, and when I changed the harness inside the car, the code for that disappeared(code 19). However I now have a surging idle, and a code 14 for EACV. Took it out, tested it, seems good. Checked through the harness, fuse, can't find what's making it throw that code 14. The only thing I haven't done yet is swap it out for another one. Any ideas?
